During the 1st MITIN Symposium (Qingdao, October 2013), a session was dedicated to exchanges on future cooperation. The objective was to prepare future cooperation projects (consortium and coordination, funding, activities and expected results) in oceanography and marine bio-resources.

You are welcome to join the collaborative actions on the following subjects:

            Oceanography

Subject 1: New technologies (cloud computing, distributed databases…) for management and sharing of large archives of data (Big Data) [HERE]

Subject 2: Cooperation for the development of coastal ocean monitoring systems especially in fast developing maritime regions [HERE]

Subject 3: Crossing global and coastal monitoring and modeling systems for a better knowledge of the ocean; focus on the regional scales and existing facilities such as JCOMMOPS and regional programs [HERE]

            Marine bio-resources

Subject 1: Innovative tools for fisheries and biomass monitoring [HERE]

            Subject 2: Clean sea-farming [HERE]

Subject 3: Joint oceanographic campaigns for assessment of biodiversity, especially in extreme environments [HERE]
